Maricar completed her nursing degree in March 2007, marking the beginning of her medical journey. She initially gained experience in Adult Medical/Surgical care for eight months before transitioning to Labour and Delivery. In December 2008, she embarked on her journey in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she dedicated her expertise until September 2012.
Her pursuit of nursing excellence led her to Melbourne in late 2012, where she has been a pivotal member of the NICU at the Royal Children’s Hospital since September 2013, a role she continues to hold. In April 2020, she achieved another milestone by completing her NICU postgraduate studies with the University of Tasmania.
As a nurse, Maricar has always been driven by a profound commitment to meeting the needs of others. This passion led her to become an aesthetic nurse injector, where she tirelessly hones her skills through ongoing education. Her unwavering dedication ensures that she can provide her clients with the finest and most cutting-edge treatments available.
During her days off, her little family keeps her on her toes. She cherishes moments spent with her husband, son, and their beloved puppy.
