Who will I see at my appointment at Luxe Lips?
One practitioner looks after you throughout your appointment at Luxe Lips, and you can choose who you would like to see when you book.
Each profile on this page shares a little about their training, clinical background and approach to care, so you can get a feel for who you might be most comfortable with before you come in.
And if you have no idea who to choose, that’s completely fine too. Tell us what you would like help with and we’ll guide you towards someone who feels like the right fit. The person who assesses you is the person who treats you.
What qualifications do your cosmetic nurses and dermal clinicians hold?
Every cosmetic nurse and dermal clinician at Luxe Lips holds qualifications relevant to the work they do, and you can find each person’s training on their profile.
Our cosmetic nurses hold nursing degrees, with several also holding Master of Nursing qualifications and postgraduate certificates in intensive care nursing.
Our dermal clinicians hold dermal science and applied health science degrees.
Several members of our team spent years working in hospital settings before moving into cosmetic care in Melbourne, bringing that clinical experience with them.

What is the difference between a cosmetic nurse and a dermal clinician?
Our cosmetic nurses and dermal clinicians come from different training backgrounds, which means they each bring something a little different to your care.
Cosmetic nurses are trained in nursing, with a foundation in clinical assessment and patient care, and you may sometimes hear nurses working in cosmetic aesthetics.
Dermal clinicians are trained in skin science, with a focus on areas such as skin health, texture and pigmentation.
Having both under one roof means we can look at your concerm from more than one perspective.
And if your practitioner feels someone else on the team would be better placed to help, they’ll simply talk you through it and point you in the right direction.
Can I request a specific cosmetic nurse or dermal clinician?
Yes, you can request a specific cosmetic nurse or dermal clinician when you book.
If they are not available at the time or Luxe Lips clinic you need, we’ll let you know and help you find another time or location that works. You can also choose to stay with the same practitioner for future visits.
Many of our clients do once they find someone they know, trust and feel comfortable with.
Do your cosmetic nurses work at all three Melbourne clinics?
Our cosmetic nurses and dermal clinicians work from specific Luxe Lips clinics across Camberwell, Brighton and Moonee Ponds, so not every practitioner is available at every location.
You’ll be able to see their availability when booking your appointment online.
If there’s a particular cosmetic nurse or dermal clinician you’d love to see and you can’t find a time that suits, send us a message on Instagram or give us a call.
Our team will be happy to help you find an appointment with them.
Who will I speak to when I am not with my practitioner?
Our front of house team is often the friendly face or voice you’ll hear between appointments.
They can help with bookings, paperwork and general questions, whether you reach us in person, by phone or by message.
If your question is about your treatment, suitability or something clinical, we’ll make sure it reaches your cosmetic nurse or dermal clinician so you can hear from the right person.
And if you’re not sure who you need, just message us. We’ll take care of the rest. Aftercare support is available seven days a week.
What happens if your practitioner says I am not suitable for treatment?
Sometimes, the most caring thing we can do is tell you that a treatment may not be right for you.
If that happens, your practitioner will explain why in plain language and give you the space to ask questions.
We would always rather have an open conversation with you than recommend something we don’t feel is right.
If you paid a deposit to secure your consultation and your practitioner advises you not to go ahead with treatment, that deposit will be refunded.
There is no expectation to proceed simply because you booked.
And if things change down the track, you’re always welcome to come back and talk it through with us again.
Do I need a consultation before treatment at Luxe Lips Cosmetic Clinic?
Yes. Every new client at Luxe Lips starts with a consultation, because we want to understand you before we start talking about a treatment plan.
Your practitioner will ask what you have noticed, what has been on your mind and what you are hoping for.
From there, you can talk through what may be suitable, what may not be, and any questions you have along the way.
Your treatment path is personalised during your consultation, and there is no need to rush a decision. We want you to feel comfortable with what comes next.
